Growing up, I always loved art but never considered creating it myself. When I attended Mary Baldwin College, I was introduced to oil painting, found my talent and majored in it and art education. My painting style is expressive and I love creating images that evoke a happy mood or memory for somebody. Constantly finding inspiration around me, I enjoy painting things from everyday life. Animals, architecture and landscapes are my favorites. In my free time I enjoy being with family and friends, decorating my home and gardening, and I especially love the beach.
